I have a friend named Kaitlan: she’s beautiful and kind and is a great cosplayer, and she’s been getting these slipped under her apartment door for months.
I asked her if I could make this post because I’ve been seeing this happening and I just want something to be done. Whether it’s people supporting her or someone telling her how to get this to stop. How to get these people to get the punishment they deserve.
She has literally done anything that she knows to do. She even went to the police:

This is Micah. He needs a new home. I’m getting kicked out of my house so I need someone to adopt my cat. Otherwise he won’t have a home at all.
He just turned nine. He’s fixed, declawed, and litter trained. Micah is shy and defensive when he first meets someone, but he’s back to his normal self after about a week. Then it’s all love and cuddles from him! He’s very affectionate once he warms up to someone. He likes snuggling up in bed and being held like a teddy bear.
We’re in the Albuquerque area. I’d be willing to take him anywhere in New Mexico. If you’re interested in adopting him, please message me. Even if you can’t adopt a cat, please reblog so someone in the state can see this and help us!

I agree! In one case, you’re a poor person getting some help paying for groceries and healthcare. In the other, you’re the CEO of a megacorporation getting corporate welfare to subsidize your ridiculously high salary because your brand is “too big to fail”.
Or you’re a politician signing off on guaranteed raises for yourself and your cronies while slashing the means-based welfare system that serves the poor.
Or you’re the Westboro Baptist Church, not paying any taxes and suing people who dare to get upset at you picketing soldiers’ funerals.
